Step 1 Setup and Login

Adobe
In order to use BorrowBox eBooks on your PC or eReader you will need Adobe Digital Editions and an Adobe ID. If you do not have these yet follow the instructions here.

1.Go to the BorrowBox portal and log in with your Blue Mountains library card number and password (if you are not sure of your password, contact us).

2.On your first vist, finalise your account by filling in the form and adding your email address. When reserved titles are available you will recieve and email notification.

Step 2 Search


Search, browse and discover the collection 24/7, by title, author or category.

Step 3 Borrow


Confirm your choice or reserve a title for later.

Step 4 Download


eBook

Download the eBook file and open it in Adobe Digital Editions.

Reading on your PC? Your book is ready to enjoy. To transfer to your eReader device, connect the device to your computer and transfer the eBook.

eAudiobook

Choose to download the complete audiobook instantly or in parts. Locate your downloaded eAudiobook file, unzip it and import it to iTunes, Windows Media Player or the media manager on your computer. Enjoy on your computer or transfer to your MP3 player.

Step 5 Enjoy and revisit


Enjoy bestselling eBooks and eAudiobooks from Australian and international authors. We’re always adding new titles, so visit often and make the most of your library membership.


Kindle Fire Devices


The BorrowBox app is now available on the Amazon Appstore and can be installed on Kindle Fire devices with just a few taps. Previously users had to download and install the BorrowBox app manually from the BorrowBox website. Now they can simply install the app directly from the Amazon Appstore on their Kindle Fire device.
