We offer a variety of items for loan, both physical and digital, to suit the broad needs of our members. Our physical collection includes novels, picture books, graphic novels, informational books, DVDs, music CDs, large print books, and audiobooks. For digital access, we provide eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, and a selection of online resources.

Members may borrow and return physical items at any of our six library branches.

Members can review their account or place a hold at any time, via the library's online catalogue (My Account) or via our Library App (coming soon). Altenatively, account enquiries can be made or holds can be placed by calling or visiting a branch during opening hours.

Renewing Loans

The system will automatically renew items two days before an item is due. This will happen twice, so long as you have not already renewed the items yourself or the items have not been put on hold for another borrower.

If an item cannot be renewed due to a hold or because it has reached the renewal limit, you will receive an email, one day before it is due, letting you know which items could not be renewed.

Overdue Loans

Fees no longer apply for overdue items.

Lost or damaged items are charged to the borrower at the full replacement cost plus a processing fee.

Holds (Reservations)

Members can place holds on items that are located at another branch to be sent to your preferred branch for collection, or to place yourself on the waiting list for an item that is currently on loan.

Notification is sent by email when the on-hold item is available.

Holds are held at your nominated branch for 10 days.

Inter Library Loans

Items can be borrowed from libraries outside the Blue Mountains area for a fee as an Inter Library Loan.
