The Blue Mountains City Library staff are available to provide research and study assistance to HSC students. Do not hesitate to come and talk to us.


We offer a special HSC collection. located at Springwood, Katoomba and Blaxland libraries for use in the library or a 7 day loan (up to two items per card).


The HSC collection includes study guides, past HSC questions and answers, exam workbooks, and guides. The HSC collection covers a range of subjects, including English, Maths, Chemistry, Biology, History, Ancient History, Business, Commerce, Economics, Religion, Computer Studies, Legal Studies and more.


The CSU guide for HSC students includes resources, information and advice, that will help you during preparation for the HSC including past papers, study guides and study tips. QUT Cite Write is an introductory guide to citing, referencing and writing. Mr Eddie Woo is a NSW maths teacher who posts his lessons online. Students all over the world have found his lessons helpful in explaining maths topics.
Points of View Reference Centre contains a series of essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. With over 100 topics, it provides a basis to develop persuasive arguments and essays, and helps students build a better understanding of controversial issues and increase their analytical thinking skills. Stress, anxiety and feeling down can affect anyone, and in face happens to a lot of us at some point in our lives. Beyond Blue has information and practical advice a variety of mental health topics.
