Large Print

Large Print books are available at all library branches and include popular fiction and non-fiction titles.

Talking Books

Talking books are available at all branches. Borrowers registered as Extended Loan Members may borrow up to twenty (20) talking books at one time. Other borrowers may borrow only eight (8) at any one time.

Adult Literacy

A small collection of graded books for beginning and/or struggling readers but specifically written for adult readers. Available across all branches.

Readers

A range of graded books for beginning and/or struggling readers is available across all branches.

Inter Library Loans

Items can be borrowed from libraries outside the Blue Mountains area for a fee as an Inter-Library Loan.

Bulk loans of community language materials and other special collections can be borrowed from the State Library of New South Wales.

Free Home Library Service

Blue Mountains City Library works with four of the Neighbourhood Centres in the Blue Mountains to provide a free home library service to people who find it difficult to visit the Library.
