These online resources cover a range of subjects and information, for learning, research and leisure. Many of these resources can be accessed whenever and wherever there is an Internet connection (you will need your library membership number). The NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) replaced the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards NSW (BOSTES) on 1 January 2017. NESA provides essential resources for all students, including HSC syllabus information.

Australian and New Zealand Points of View Reference Centre contains a series of essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. With over 100 topics, it provides a basis to develop persuasive arguments and essays, and helps students build a better understanding of controversial issues and increase their analytical thinking skills. RBdigital offers eMagazines and eAudiobooks for download. To borrow, you will need a valid Blue Mountains Library membership card and password. Register in the RBdigital Portal before logging into the app.

The oral history collection brings together over 100 interviews which can be streamed directly from the library catalogue. It includes the Speaking of the Past project the Blue Gum Forest Oral History Project.
Photographs and Postcards
The Local Studies digitised photograph collection contains over 5,000 jpeg images related to the Blue Mountains. These historic photos and postcards are now available to view and download from the catalogue. Over 900 of these images are hosted on Flickr, giving you the opportunity to leave comments and be part of the conversation.
